Participants are requested to submit an abstract via the Symposium website

GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION
Abstracts may be submitted only via the Symposium website.
FAXED ABSTRACTS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
An individual may submit only one abstract as the presenting author.
Abstracts must be submitted in English using specified font (Times New
Roman, 12 point) . Abstracts should not
exceed 1 page(A4 size, top and bottom 25 mm/ right and left 17 mm margin). First
letter of the abstract title should be capitalized. First letter of each word
in the author(s) and affiliation(s) should be capitalized.
There are two types of presentation; Oral and Poster sessions.
The presentation type of abstracts submitted will be determined by the members
of Program Committee.
SUBMISSION PROCEDURES
- To submit an abstract, please click the “ONLINE SUBMISSION” button located
at the head of this page.
- Please input all information in English for abstract submission. No proofreading
will be done on submitted abstracts. The abstracts will be printed as they are,
so please prepare your abstract with this in mind.
- There are certain keywords for abstracts categories(please refer to the
submission form), please choose one of them which relate the theme of your abstract.
- Abstracts will be accepted in Microsoft Word file. Please
use the following
template as an example when preparing
your abstract.
- Once abstract information has been sent and files uploaded, abstract submission
is considered complete and an Abstract ID will be provided automatically.
- If you would like to change the initially submitted abstract, please log
in the submission online, and resubmit the modified abstract. Modification or
re-write cannot be made to the papers submitted by November 6th (Fri.) due to
reviewing process. Abstracts submitted after November 6th(Japan Time) can be
modified until November 20th (Fri) 12:00 Japanese local time.
- Acceptance or rejection of the submitted abstract will be announced via
e-mail. Authors will be informed of the status of their submission by the end
of December 2009.
SPECIAL ISSUE
Selected papers will be published in a special issue of Jpn. J. Appl. Phys.(JJAP)
